Highlights of Iguazu Falls

If we only had one word to describe Iguazu Falls, it would be AWESOME!  We knew it was going to be good, but if we were underwhelmed by Buenos Aires, we were completely overwhelmed by Iguazu Falls.  This place is unmissable.  We were at the falls over two days.  The second day is half price when you validate your tickets.

Because we are limited with time to write in-depth posts, we are going to mainly let our pictures do the talking over the next 5 months.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask questions in the comments or find us on Facebook.

When visiting Iguazu Falls, you will most likely come across some form of wildlife.  We did see monkeys, caymen, turtles, coatis, lizards, and guinea pigs, to name a few.  There are many others we did not see.

IguazuThere were countless numbers of birds.

Iguazu2The place is also lousy with butterflies.  Everywhere you go there are butterflies.

Iguazu1As it is Spring here, the place was just blooming.  You will find most of your common garden and house plants here growing in their natural habitat.

Iguazu3Of course, there are also the waterfalls.  The place is lousy with them too!  They are truly amazing!

Iguazu4An added bonus to all of that water….

Iguazu5We took a boat trip under the falls which was AWESOME!  There are many paths that will take you to view the falls at different levels.  Two things are guaranteed, you will be amazed and you will get wet!

Iguazu6Now this is what we call living the dream!  We are also calling this our honeymoon!

Next port of call:  Buenos Aires for a couple of days before we head off to Puerto Madryn!
